Should the rain try and spoil your fun most shooting grounds now offer covered shooting stands anyway, and a bit of rain only makes for a more challenging shot, so it’s even sweeter when you blow a clay to pieces.

Give or take a few days, but Halloween usually falls around half term, which means now is the perfect time for families and first time shooters to experience the rush of clay pigeon shooting. Age restrictions vary across the country, but at some shooting grounds children as young as six-years-old can take the first steps towards mastering clay pigeon shooting.
