In total there will be 15 different shooting disciplines with events running for an entire week, so make yourself comfortable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where will it be held?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All shooting events will be held at the National Shooting Centre in Deodoro, which is named after the first Brazilian to wind a gold medal Guilherme Paraense.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Which shooting events should I watch?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Obviously we\u2019re a little bit biased but you can\u2019t beat the excitement of the shotgun events. Keep an eye out for men\u2019s trap, men\u2019s double trap, men\u2019s skeet, women\u2019s trap and women\u2019s skeet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who\u2019s in Team GB?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Britain\u2019s shooters are some of the best around and those going for gold in Rio are:<\/p>\n<p>Amber Hill \u2013 Women\u2019s Skeet<\/p>\n<p>Elena Allen \u2013 Women\u2019s Skeet<\/p>\n<p>Ed Ling \u2013 Men\u2019s Trap<\/p>\n<p>Jen McIntosh \u2013 Women\u2019s 50m Rifle Three Positions<\/p>\n<p>Steve Scott \u2013 Men\u2019s Double Trap<\/p>\n<p>Tim Kneale \u2013 Men\u2019s Double Trap<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who\u2019s poised for the podium?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GB\u2019s shooters are all extremely talented and there\u2019s a good chance they could all finish amongst the medals! Steve Scott and Tim Kneale have both recently won World Championship medals though, and they\u2019ll be hoping to take that form into the Rio Olympics. Teenage skeet shooter Amber Hill will also be hoping to build on her World Cup win in 2015.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How have British shooters faired in the past?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In total Great Britain have won 44 shooting medals; 13 gold, 15 silver and 16 bronze.
