What to expect on your first time? \u00a0\u00a0\"blog2\"<\/b><\/i><\/span> <\/i><\/p>\n

Upon arriving at your first ever clay shoot you\u2019re given a full safety briefing by our qualified instructors and kitted out with all the safety gear to allow you to enjoy your day. Before you begin to shoot the instructors will see what your dominant eye is. This is a really simple process and can even be done when reading this, just point your finger to an object across the room. Now,<\/span> close your left eye. If you can see the object at the end of your finger this means that you are right eye dominant. If instead the object has moved away from your finger, open your left eye and close your right, without moving your hand. If you\u2019re left eye dominant, the object will now be at the end of your finger.<\/p>\n

Once you\u2019ve done this our expert instructors, who will be by your side throughout the session, will first teach you how to hold the gun and where to place the gun when firing. You\u2019ll be taught to hold the gun\u2019s butt in a groove inside your shoulder joint and then taught how to correctly hold your body to maintain accuracy when you fire your first shot.<\/p>\n

Once you\u2019ve got them down to a tee, you\u2019re ready to fire! The clay pigeon will be fired at a beginner level, meaning it won\u2019t make those crazy movements and our instructors will provide you with the tips and tricks on when to shoot and give you that all needed encouragement if you\u2019re not quite hitting them just yet! Just don\u2019t be nervous and stay calm, Clay shooting<\/a> is fun and nobody is an expert straight away, you\u2019ll fire much better and enjoy yourself much more when you\u2019re nice and relaxed.<\/p>\n
