The Big Shoot's CPSA Premier Plus Ashbourne site has hosted several prestigious events over the years - everything from National and International shooting tournaments to Championship events. This makes us the perfect venue for beginners and seasoned pros alike, where expert tuition and a full safety briefing are offered by our highly experienced staff. Not only that, you'll be equipped with a state of the art shotgun too - specially designed to smash clays out of the sky! Based in the heart of the wonderful Derbyshire countryside, you'll be surrounded by 70 acres of stunning scenery - the perfect environment for the ultimate Clay Shooting experience!
The facilities at Ashbourne are second to none, with fully automated traps, a voice activated automated tower, ample parking and on site cafe serving breakfast and lunches. We offer every kind of weaponry from entry level sporters to high grade competition rifles. This event is perfect for group celebrations or corporate gatherings. We have function rooms available and a superb clubhouse complete with a shop selling a variety of guns, shooting merchandise and country clothing.

Very good experience and exceptional instruction
Simply an exceptional experience! Expectations exceeded! We booked for a 50 shoot stag event, and the process online had a clear explanation with a well thoughtout layout. When we arrived the ground were beautiful and visabily well looked after. Staff all friendly. Facilities were top-notch. Reception couldn't have been better. Instructor's that clearly enjoy what they do. We also ate at the facilities and every meal was restaurant standard at a fair price - if you haven't been before - what are you waiting for!

Will come again.This experience took us slightly by surprise (positively). We didn't quite know what to expect. The facilities are outstanding, the instructor was so friendly and helpful. It was a really 'easy' family activity, enjoyed by both parents & teenagers. Felt very safe, well organised and accessible to people for whom this wouldn't be an ordinary activity.
