Welcome to clay shooting paradise! Here at The Big Shoot's Eccles location, we have plenty to delight both novices and veteran clay assassins. Even if you've never picked up a gun before, the helpful tuition from our team will make sure that you are cracking targets within moments, as well as developing your skills in a variety of shooting disciplines. For established shots, the thrills are even greater; giant towers, simulated game targets and much more that will put your accuracy to the test. We may be surrounded by stunning countryside views, but don't take your eyes off your line of fire!

We may be surrounded by 400 acres of gorgeous Lancashire woodland and countryside scenery, but we are more than happy to say you won't want to pull your eyes away from the action to check it out. We aren't just one of the biggest sites in the North West, but we are one of the best too. With everything from gigantic towers to dedicated skeet and UT ranges, we have everything a marksman could possibly want. For the most established shots, we even have simulated game traps, to put your shooting skills to the ultimate test.
Our site has toilets, changing rooms, spectator areas and car parking facilities. Light refreshments are available on the day.

The instructor, Danny, was great. Professional and polite but good fun. We had a great time.
Arrived about 40mins early, paid a visit to the cafe for a coffee and a cake. We were introduced to Ged who gave us safety instructions and the basics for novices, checked our coordination / eye sight etc
We went down to the cabins on the range and, moving through the ‘easier’ to ‘trickier’ stages. It was a great experience, we both were surprised with our success rate and were hooked from the start. Our instructor, Ged, explained how to maximise our chances to hit the clays, he made the experience very enjoyable and was very genourous with praise and encouragement. We’ll definitely book again 🎈really enjoyed my first visit, i have booked again and applying for my licence, the instructor was great, the shooting was amazing.
The shoot was brilliant, the instructor talked us through the safety aspects then took us on the course, each shoot was different. Will definitely be going back
